    Annindita –
Does the ARL know that you are getting these creatures at the feeding stations? No dog would return to a feeding station used by these animals. Enough with the feeding station idea! Its been 7 months and it hasn’t worked likely because the fells are just too wooded with too much wildlife who also like dog food, apparently. Do they have any other ideas? If not, can we please try am old school idea of flooding the fells with Mari’s army in the areas where she has been? Or just anything different. Tell us where she has been and we can flush her out!
On the other hand, if you have had enough and can’t do it anymore, you could give up the reigns to one of us for a month to do the tracking so you get a break. I dont work and would be happy to do it as would many others I bet. I know this comment sounds harsh, but you met me and I hope you know I am just trying to maybe help you make decisions that perhaps you go back and forth over every single day – I am not tryng to be mean. I only want the best for you, your husband and Mari. I honestly dont think I could have done this as long as you have and I admire your strength.

If I had to Guess Marisol is Leaving the Fells at Night! It is Way to Dangerous for her to stay in there with the coyote Population. She is getting her food outside of the Fells, and using the fells during the day to hide. Please focus on all out skirts of the Fells at Night. Maybe the Marisol Army could help and be in prime Locations for a sighting of Marisol.

I never post ideas, opinions, etc. only support b/c I think your search for ‘sol is very personal, BUT I have to say I agree w/ both Meredith and Holly who obviously both care as much as so many others.

I don’t want to sound mean, but you need to move on. There are thousands of dogs in need. Use your energy to rescue another dog. Marisol is gone. Stop wasting your money on trackers. There hasn’t been a relaible sighting in over 4 months. Use your money to save another dog. Or to get therapy so you can move on.

There are so many of us who support you all in whatever path you choose in your search for Marisol. It is such a personal journey. Your feelings, lives, love for Marisol are something we can only begin to comprehend. Animals touch each of us in ways that we cannot always make sense of it being outsiders to your relationship with her. She was such an amazingly blessed little animal to be brought to the United States to live such a beautiful few years with you both. It is my most supreme wish that your little girl finds her way home…. soon. I know you mentioned some next steps in your previous post – Just know we are here for support in whatever last ditch efforts or plans you might use to try and get your girl home. Thinking positive as always!

  6. Mary says:

Right on Lauren! Marisol’s Army is still out there and will be until Sol is back home with her family.

OMG … could it be? Or is she too small? Hoping …
