Hot dog

It’s weird to go from worrying about a puppy in a blizzard to a puppy overheating in near 100 degree weather. At least this is weather you know — and swimming is always an option to cool off.

Oh, sol. We keep running into problems. Food disappeared from the station, but the camera’s SD card got corrupted again, and we couldn’t recover the photos. Was it you? Raccoons? Squirrels? Something new and never before photographed? You’re more elusive than the Loch Ness Monster and the Yeti combined.

Speaking of elusive, your nemesis the cat from next door appears to have had kittens. I saw an adorable mini-nemesis running around over the weekend. You’d be super excited. More neighborhood cats who might infiltrate our house! En garde.

We’re still trying to figure things out, sol… we got a couple of good outreach ideas, but we were also starting to make peace with everything, but that’s also kind of impossible. We have three different sets of next steps worked out, and in the meantime the feeding station’s up and active. Hopefully we’ll soon find out with what…

Happy dog with ice cube!

I’m a cat owner now. But was raised with dogs of all sorts and sizes. Big, little, rescue, pedigree, etc. and I can say with some assurance that you guys are great dog parents.

If Mari isn’t able to come home to you, I hope you help another pup who needs a great home and loving folks.

And I’m very sure, even though I’ve never met you or her, that she knew it and was happy as a clam in mud with you guys.

Still have fingers crossed. Maybe Marisol would like a little sibling…

Something is telling me that Marisol will come home (soon). She is out there but in surviver mode which she knows well. I have prayed to St. Francis and St. Anthony to protect her and guide her back to you.
In so many of the pictures that you posted, Marisol had a stuffed play toy, is it possible to place some of these in the area’s of her sightings so she can use this smell to follow you and her way home? Just a thought from someone that is anixous to see this web site lite up in celebration news and pictures on Mari’s return.

I check this page everyday (have page bookmark in my phone) hoping to read that Mari is home. I can’t even begin to imagine how you feel but please don’t give up, let’s pray that she will come home soon where she belongs. Hang in there and Mari enough exploring-time to come home.

St. Anthony’s (patron saint of all things lost) feast day is June 13th. I’m hoping for a special miracle that Marisol (and Daisy) will be rescued very soon. Anindita, I remember reading that you used to sing “You are My Sunshine” to Marisol. Any thought about recording your voice singing this song and playing it in the Fells? Expect a miracle :)

I think of Marisol every single day; so I can’t even begin to imagine what you both are going through. I hope you derive peace and support from all Mari’s followers.
