Marisol hates the rain. It’s funny because she loves wading in water (not swimming, though — she hates it when her paws aren’t on solid ground), so it’s not about getting wet. It’s the plopping on her head. She huffs, shakes, and eventually hides in some safe spot, like under the stairs, until she gets to go back inside.
Whenever she’d have to go out and it was raining, she’d scratch at the door, walk out, and then turn right back around and come inside. I’d have to chase her out, and she’d do her business as fast as she could, the whole time with an expression of why are you doing this to me? and then she’d run back in and shake.
It’s tough to think of her out there alone in the rain, sighing at the weather and without her cozy, fur covered blanket. Not sure where she’s hiding out now… if she found a dry spot somewhere or if she’s back on the move and it’s people who are staying inside where it’s warm and dry.
