Mari, are you still out there? It’s been a terribly long time without a sighting — 3 weeks — and the weather has improved since all of the snowpocalypses when we were still getting sightings.
We know there are many possibilities for why there aren’t sightings:
- You might not be okay.
- You might be in an area that doesn’t get much foot traffic so people aren’t around to see you (especially if you’re moving around at night!).
- You may be out and about but people don’t know you’re lost.
- You may be in an area where people don’t know about you.
We’ve had a couple of look alike calls and cases of mistaken identity, but most of them have been from people who actively follow this blog and your story. I’m wondering if we’ve reached the point when posters have been up for so long, they’re blending into the background, and people assume you’ve been found or are no longer out there.
The feeding station is still up. The rain washed away the bait one night, and another night it was so windy that the camera filled up with pictures of blowing leaves before you or whatever other creature showed up and ate the food. Here’s today’s visitor:
I don’t know, sol… looks like bait to me. Don’t you think?
